Kokichi Mikimoto created the first cultured pearls in 1893, making Japan renowned as the source for some of the most beautiful versions of the gemstone. Strung with Akoya ones, these earrings are cast from 18-karat gold and encrusted with sparkling diamonds along the dainty hoop.
